This blog is dedicated to the art students and the art program at DeSoto Trail Elementary School in Tallahassee, FL. This blog was created by Miss Cassandra Whitehead, Spring 2012 Art Intern, for Mrs. Kim Salesses who is the Art Teacher at DeSoto Trail.
The purpose of our "Trailblazing Art Stars" Art Class Blog is multifaceted. We would like to have a place in cyberspace for parents, teachers, and students to build a sense of community around the art program at DeSoto Trail as well as offer a public "face" to our program. By doing this, we facilitate the local community's and the general public's understanding of how quality art programs build critical thinking and creativity in our students.
